Page three- a challenge to the world of medicine and healing
I have an idea. I want to build a center where people can get holistic/natural treatments like massage therapy, chakra balancing, reiki attunements, etc and while they wait they can have access to the same information that their practioner had to use to receive their degree/certification/licensure. this way the client (patient) can know the procedure was administered correctly without the practioner having taken any deviations or shortcuts that could lessen the benefit and the practioner could know that the patient left knowing that if they didn't receive the full benefit it was because there was something wrong inside of them. I'm not asking for any donations but if anyone does want to donate I'm afraid it will not be tax deductable and at present I would be unable to offer you any stake in the project however I feel that so many people who are in holistic therapies are in it (and I have seen this with my own eyes) because they initially wanted to heal themselves and hjelping others was a by product of their own healing. I think if the young people had a place to look over home study or distance learning coursework and see if they could handle it or not, and got fascinated in a subject they would want to learn more about it and then they'd be doing holistics because they wanted to help others first and their own healing was a by-product of helping others rather than the other way around.
Which is why I would offer the same materials I used to study with for my degrees and programs of courseworks along with the school they came from to the center which I am proposing. Our high schools automatically push studnets into two options either go into the workforce directly or go to a traditional university or college which I am not discounting in anyway, however, this should not be the automatic only option. With the cost of gasoline (petrol for my international visitors) going up, and therefore the cost of tuition which is fueled by the costs endured by the traditional universities, distance learning and home study will soon be the main way for people to get ahead in their educations. We should offer our future generations all their options including home study or distance learning, traditional univeristy/college or vocational institutions.
